Review on DEWALT DW8309 Zirconia Angle Grinder by Mark Callaham

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Beware of expired used rims

Nothing against Dewalt, it's a quality product. Two Revain DW8310 drives were sold/shipped for this order. A disc is obviously worn out and most of the abrasive grain is worn away. Simply put in a box without packaging. Sending used goods or having someone else return them is totally unacceptable. However, used or old (discontinued) products are an all too common topic here. Additionally, most discs sold here do not have a required expiration date since they are not made in the USA. Using a grinding wheel is the most dangerous tool. Grinding wheels can fall apart due to aging of the bond material, so they are marked with an expiration date. There are enough risks when using cutting and grinding wheels. I will not increase these risks, so I will not use expired sanding pads. I replaced them by ordering directly from the manufacturer and paying additional shipping costs. I will do this with everything except kitty litter and other non-essential supplies. It's worth spending a few bucks more to get a new one.
