Too tight!
I really like the size of the pencil case, but the distance between the compartments doesn't matter. First, the distance is a bit off. But more importantly, it feels too boring for two pens and also too narrow for three. I ended up putting three pins in every other spot. I didn't want to risk ruining the Fabre Castell colored pencils. Hopefully this will give some room as the elastic will give a bit. It also gives the pegs on the adjacent side gaps to fall into instead of bumping into each other. I'm not sure yet, but maybe I'll look into the case to wrap the pens individually. What is to be considered.
