Simple, quick and not a thousand times good looking

First let me correct some mistakes in other reviews. The frame is made of plastic. The lid is glass, albeit thin. Comments on how they all broke and it's cheap junk. I read the instructions which are very clear with pictures and removed and replaced the glass with no problem. Whoever broke it didn't read the instructions or didn't do it right. One had extra plastic on it, but you can't see it. The key is to work each corner slowly, piece by piece. There are small plastic ties on the side of the shirt to hold it in place. They are clearly not intended for wedding photos or fashion items. The reviewer who wanted her to have autographs had to use. acid-free base, so she's lucky. I'm doing an Andy Warhol style project. I didn't want to spend a million and I don't need anything special. I am delighted with them and the prices. There are some brands that have plexiglass lids, but they get cloudy. Ouch. One had some weird plastic that you can't see and one had the glass slightly crumpled on the side. No glitches. Canon 8x10 fits perfectly. Someone suggested putting cardboard under the picture and I think that's a good idea. I'm not sure how thick the cardstock or poster paper is. Take your time, shoot one corner at a time (see photo in instructions) and you'll be fine. I'm glad they work.
