First off, let me say that I think Autel is a great company and makes great products. I had an Autel Evo 1 and was very happy (wish I had sold it a week before I had this problem) with the performance of this drone and how it flew. That's just not the case with the Autel Evo 2. . When the camera performs well, few can match how good this thing is. However, I was very dissatisfied with the flight characteristics. It looks like some firmware updates improved performance and some just brought it back completely. It is very difficult to achieve the smooth flight movements that I was able to achieve with the EVO 1. I also had issues with the camera producing soft images and losing focus, being overexposed etc. FYI I'm a professional aviator so I have experience tweaking camera settings but that was overkill. I think some drones work very well and if you are not picky about what you need in terms of flight plan you will be happy. I would also like to think that my camera problem was just bad luck. Also, I didn't mention that the one I sent back was my replacement for the one that had a horizon tilt I just couldn't get rid of no matter how hard I tried during the calibration process. So I don't go insane. and forgot how to control or use my manual settings on the drone, I bought a Mavic Air 2 which I had no issues with camera settings, horizon tilt or flight performance. I think this drone has amazing potential but I don't think it has it in terms of firmware.
