Review on Battery Tender Solar Panel Controller Tools & Equipment by Juan Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now I have two starter rigs and I need two battery tenders

battery charger) and 4-12V lithium batteries (also attached to the battery charger), and then installation with a 12V solar panel, 200 W hooked up to this cordless tender and two other large 12v lithium batteries - I have 2000w an inverter on the first and a 3000w inverter on the second set. See, I've read a lot about solar energy and even taken solar energy courses, but these are my first installations to learn from. This is also my way of making a backup power kit for camping or in case my house goes out of power. That's what I'm learning the day I install my permanent electrical wiring for the house I'm building. This cordless tender is great - it shows me how much juice I'm using when I plug in an appliance like my induction stovetop to heat food. Then see how long it takes for the solar panels to recharge the batteries. Great charge controller!

Pros
  • MAX. OUTPUT: DC 12V 30A and two USB ports to support mobile device charging
Cons
  • Crumpled package
