Review on Starrett 505P 7 Miter Saw Protractor by Brian Kingsford

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Fragile plastic and awkward to use

Not what I expected. They are thin plastic and difficult to read. Not very comfortable to use as the protractor is rounded and doesn't have a good 90 degree angle. There are also many internal markings that make reading difficult. In addition, the included small instruction booklet is for using this tool when modeling a crown. Has nothing to do with the general instructions for using this protractor for other work. At this price, this item is just not worth it. A digital tool can be much better and more accurate and you will find that many of them come with a nice 90 degree edge that is easier to work with, usually metal and they are cheaper too.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not automatic
