Review on Panasonic ES-RT37 electric shaver, blue/silver by Wiktor Winiewski ᠌

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

It's been two years since I've had this razor. Of course, Panasonic shaves worse than razors, both expensive and disposable - I was ready for this from the very beginning. But apparently I have sensitive skin with a lot of capillaries, so there has always been a problem with the machine - while it’s new, the whole face after shaving is in the blood (and these are not cuts!), And when it gets a little dull, skin irritations begin. Panasonic does not irritate the skin at all, although I still have not changed either the mesh or the knives. Probably already necessary, it will be even more pleasant to shave. The possibility of a wet shave in fact turned out to be pampering. In one pass, the bristles still do not shave cleanly, like with a machine tool, and then the slippery foam only interferes. Plus, you can wash your razor from time to time. The head of the razor, as noted here, is indeed not very “floating”, it is easier to tilt the device in the right direction yourself. Personally, I need attention to certain areas (for example, near the lips or on the cheekbones), sometimes I leave a few hairs in a hurry. The main problem for me with the quality of shaving is the neck, I have to drive the razor in all directions several times. But I attribute this to my individual characteristics (if only because the neck is shaved better on the left side than on the right). Very pleased with the battery. Here he writes that it is enough for two shaves - obvious nonsense. At first I charged once every three weeks, now for some reason it lasts for a month! Did you shave faster? I shave every day, sometimes shaking on Saturday or Sunday. The main drawback of the razor is also connected with charging - an indistinct indication of the charge. At some point, the blue lights (all three together) begin to blink, but you can shave with them for another 10-12 days. Maybe it was worth lighting them sequentially? I often go on short business trips, and it is important for me to understand whether to take a charger with me or not. As a result, I just began to remember the date of the previous charge and count the days until the next one (see above). By the way, on the last drops of the battery, you can maximally trim your cheek or chin, but often this is enough.

Pros
  • 1. Ease of use 2. Battery! 3. Shaving quality
Cons
  • 1. Complete set - at least some kind of cover would not hurt. 2. Uninformative charging indicator
