Review on Harrison's Bird Food Power Treats with Red Palm Fruit Oil - 1 lb. (454g) by Ashley Leatham

I have been using Harrison's food for my various small and large parrots for the past 20 years. It was recommended to me when I was in Colorado and was taking one of my parrots. I will never use anything other than the Harrisons for all my parrots! The health benefits are worth the little extra money you spend on this food compared to other foods on the market. And I'm speaking from my experience as I've tried almost all of them. have converted a few rescued birds to Harrisons and I'm talking about birds that have gone completely from a seed only diet to a canary seed only diet and fed entirely on human food :(I've had GREAT SUCCESS translating my birds from Harrisons, offers Harrison's more of a 'pureed' consistency (i.e. almost powdery) yes Harrison's does offer puree but I'm talking more about its 'consistency' offer my larger birds my power treat to get used to the taste, as I have never seen any of my birds refuse Power Treat :) Then I will grind their High Potency Coarse into my grinder and mix it with some crushed Power Treats for added flavor and encouragement, after chunks of Power Treats in the bowl to "search" as they are now used to the taste :) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you visit the Harrisons website and explore all the different ones Types of food they offer as well as their expert feeding recommendations for each of their different species. Your website is extremely helpful to anyone interested in transitioning their bird to a healthier diet!
