Review on ACDelco PF457G: Discover the Optimal Engine Oil Filter for GM Original Equipment by Paul Green

As always, ACDelco has great products. The last time I used a K&N filter on my wife's Cobalt SS it was no different than using an ACDelco brand filter. they last about the same time. The only time I had trouble with this type of internal filter was when a lube shop used a cheap Chinese imitation. My friend and I had to completely drain the pan, disassemble the engine as the filter was completely destroyed. I know my wife drove just over 3200 miles before we changed the oil and found out what happened. Even then the filter should not have fallen apart at 3200 miles. I will never go back to this store and having learned my lesson: never use cheap imitations to save a few bucks they turn into thousands of dollars in repairs.
