Well, it's definitely a shoe. It has good padding for a bed, but that doesn't mean your foot won't hurt after an hour of walking. If, like me, you only wear low socks, you probably won't like these shoes, as they can (strongly) irritate the skin of the ankles when walking, to the point where barefoot might be better (you won't get this with higher-cut socks). The shoes are mostly mesh, so plan on getting a lot of mud in your shoes if you're running in the mud. Has Zeto traction so be prepared to slip anywhere. But hey, these are shoes.
