I tested my new USB 3.1 stick with a $20 dongle and got 300MB/s write speed on the dongle. I connected my Samsung 970 PRO NVME M.2 to this case and only got write speeds in excess of 30MB/s using the same cables and USB stick on the computer. So the write speed is lower than desired (I assume it's not a 970 Pro, with a high probability). Can I at least clone my current 960 PRO with it? No, at least with Macrium I can't. Macrium states that while it can read and write NVME in the chassis, it cannot clone; Macrium goes on to say that in some cases this is a design limitation. Apparently, it was hastily launched. I'll be back, but if anyone has decent comments on this I'd be grateful.
