Review on πŸŽ’ MGgear Transparent Security Bookbag - The Ultimate Backpack for Safety and Style by Amy Silakos

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bottom torn at seam in less than 4 months (on 4 separate packs!)

Shoulder straps a bit small for older children. Attention: The manufacturer only grants a 30-day guarantee. About 3 1/2 months after purchasing two of these backpacks (two for kids, one for middle school and one for high school) each of them broke at the bottom near the seam. I bought two more and bought protection plans. Again, after about 3 1/2 months, they broke again in the same places. My fault for buying them again. Asurion is responsible for the defense plan. Assurion said I have two options: 1) Go through Assurion to return the backpacks, postage free but have to provide a box for each and on delivery Assurion scan an email voucher to be given out through Revain for everything can do what you want. ; or 2) contact the manufacturer and replace them with the same item that they have shown the manufacturer has a 1 year warranty on. I chose Assurion for my second package and called MGGear for the first package. They told me they only have a 30 day guarantee "because Revain requires it". Since clear backpacks will be mandatory for our school district in the future, I will review warranties prior to purchase.
