I have an old ceramic heater that is over 20 years old and it still works but not nearly as well as it used to so I'm looking for a cheap replacement until I find a suitable one. . This one is lightweight and very well balanced to lift and move it in a jiffy without dropping it. It quickly knocks the chill out of my stash (20' x 28') and once it's at the right temperature, it adjusts on and off as needed from time to time. It doesn't stay on long when it reaches the desired level, instead turning off for a few minutes until the temperature drops below the set point. My old one ran for about 15 minutes (or more) when it turned back on after reaching temperature and it took a very long time for it to do so. I mean a 5-10 degree rise at most, so Muller's rapid heat-up is a pleasant surprise. The safety tip is just as good as the one on my old heater (almost the same) and unlike some when tilted. It turns off immediately instead of turning off the heater and then another 20 seconds later the fan. Not sure which is safer but I like the instant full shutdown more as the case never gets that hot except for the front grille. What I do not like. The fan is only connected to the thermostat, so if the room temperature is above a certain temperature, the fan is useless. I don't like it when it's off, nothing shows it's on but not heating up (like tipping over or heating up). Those are two things that should be different on my next heater and I don't mind spending a little more. I bought it used like new with less than $20 shipping so I'm fine with that. It doesn't wobble like my old one, but I rarely used this feature so it doesn't matter. For what it needs to do, heat the room, this thing is of great importance.
