Review on Stream Your Music In Style With Teac MCD800CH All-In-One Turntable Bluetooth Speaker System In Black by Doug Olson

TEST TURN TABLE BEFORE UNPACKING!

TEST THE TURN TABLE BEFORE UNPACKING EVERYTHING! On the first one I received the turn table made a "DaDaDaDut.DadadaDut.DaDaDaDut" as it rotated. When an album was played that sound was transferred and amplified through the speakers.I've returned it and will try a new one, luckily, Revain makes returns and exchanges really easy. Overall I'd say this unit is overpriced for what it is, should be sold for under $200 in my opinion. The size and retro design is what sells it for me, looks and fits perfect in my living room, so I am sacrificing quality for appearance with this unit. I did use the unit throughout the night to test the sound quality. Music played through my iPad sounded good, I also purchased this unit to run my TV through it. I watched The Voice with it and tested it watching a DVD and I was happy with the sound. The small speakers do lack the amount of bass I'd like hear, but they do fill my entire house(small one bedroom) with sound. When the new one arrives I'll write another review to tell if my problem was just a bad unit or a common problem.

Pros
  • Ideal for small apartments or rooms with limited space
Cons
  • The system may have a short wireless range for Bluetooth connections
