I really wanted to love this

DO NOT buy this to apply makeup! Being semi-blind without glasses, I figured the extra magnification might allow me to see enough to put on makeup. NO. The mirror is EXTREMELY concave and to see anything in it you have to move your face 10cm away from it. If you do this, you will not be able to successfully apply mascara or any type of makeup. There just isn't enough space. The only thing this mirror could be good for is to check your makeup after applying it with another mirror. Do yourself a favor and buy a mirror with regular lighting and a separate magnifying mirror. I am returning this one and buying this one instead. It's absolutely useless and believe me I really wanted to love it.
