Great Shoes - Few Wishes

I believe I will give a fair review. I bought three pairs of these and have no plans to return them. Pros: Appearance - FIVE STARS - These shoes are BRIGHT, very well made and easy to spot with a brush when there's something on them. They're stylish and I've had so many people stop me and ask where I got them from or compliment my "cool kicks". They attract attention and I love that about them. Cushioning - FIVE STARS - The soles are great for my knees. My knees don't hurt after hours on my feet and my lower back was happy in these shoes. I definitely felt a correction in my walking as my calves started to burn instead of my knees and lower back. When you take a step, you seem to be walking on clouds. Construction - FIVE STARS - These shoes are durable and will last you a long time. They spared no expense in making these shoes and they won't fall apart easily. Price - FIVE STARS - Are you kidding? The price of these great tennis shoes is an absolute steal compared to the quality. When you pay $100-$150 more for stylish shoes that aren't half as good as these shoes, you know you got a good deal. I don't know about you, but the price was just right for me. Perfect! Heel Counter - TEN STARS - The heel counter on these shoes is out of this world. They are very high and take some getting used to, but I can't tell you how lucky I am to wear a shoe that doesn't feel like my heel won't fall out of my back when it doesn't. lace very tight! Love love love. The Bad: Insole Comfort - TWO STARS - First of all - if you have foot pains like plantar fasciitis or work long hours on your feet these shoes are not for you. I was hoping that the cushioning in the soles would make them easier on the knees (and they are), but the insoles for these boots are incredibly uncomfortable after long periods of wear. My heels killed me after six hours. I keep them to wear to parties or just to "shopping". I work long hours standing and it doesn't add to the comfort. The fit is THREE STARS - so I'm actually being generous here. I have a very high arch and instep (top of foot) and these shoes required stretching before I could put them on. They don't lace or unlace like regular shoes - they have material all over the instep. I usually love these shoes because I have such a high instep, but these shoes only bruised my instep to the point of breaking them even more, and even now after breaking a few pairs my instep is crying in agony when I would just pull them together They are also not designed for WIDE feet. So unless you plan to buy a shoe tree set, stay away from them with wide feet. This amount of weight can and still will help with cushioning, but these shoes are MUCH heavier than I expected. You don't notice it at first, but after spending an hour or two in it, your steps become clogged. Your weight is beginning to make itself felt. I'm a fan of New Balance and Saucony and ONE of these shoes weighs about the same as a whole pair of Saucony shoes. Bottom line: I ended up with three BRIGHT, cool-looking pairs of shoes that I wear when I'm not working or when I'm on my feet for long hours. I'm impressed with the craftsmanship and construction of the shoe. They give my knees and lower back some rest when worn for long periods, but the interior comfort leaves a lot to be desired, and since they're made for people with slim legs I can't add extra arch support to help me. .

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
