Review on Stant 13858 Thermostat Degrees Fahrenheit by Dean Ledet

This was bought to replace the odd looking thing that came with the engine. When I had to replace an engine head, that item was exposed and the gasket needed replacing, and I never removed the thermostat or radiator cap without waiting for a replacement. The old thermostat seemed to be working, albeit reluctantly, judging by the gauges in the cockpit. This opens and works very well and the needle moves very little when the engine load changes from light to heavy. I really like this one as it works better than I have ever seen in a thermostat. Extremely smooth.
