I was pleasantly surprised. The image they have on Revain makes it look like cheap plastic, but it's generally a faux, soft type of plastic. It doesn't look cheap or feel cheap at all. I will upload photos. The case itself is thin, compact and discreet. Discretion is the main reason I ordered it. I would like to be able to sit in the library, cafeteria etc. my campus and analyze chess games and puzzles without attracting strangers' looks. A plus. In a public place, it attracted attention and people who wanted to play. This one is just perfect. And I have to say that the magnetic parts hold up very well. Don't be afraid to lose them on a bumpy ride. You don't have to pick them up, just slide to the next square.
