Flared Seams: Cold weather coat

I love this coat for the style and the material. The material that comes in contact with my dog's skin is very soft and the outside is a canvas material. It's been a little over a year since I bought it, but living in a valley in Southern California I haven't used it. very often (less than 20 days). I am very disappointed that the top seam on the chest on the right side has already unraveled and part of the collar has moved away from the seam.
