Bought these to have an easier bowl for our disabled daughter who struggles with glass and breakable utensils. This relieved her of stress and fear of dropping and breaking dishes. They're very lightweight, won't heat up in the microwave so they're easy to reheat food or make oatmeal, and they're also dishwasher safe. I tried throwing them to see if they break and are strong. GREAT PURCHASE and I love that they are BPA free. Can buy plates and cups nearby.
