REST ON LAUREL Best Desktop Blender

I had a Vitamix and when the motor burned out I decided to spend over $500 and buy a new one. Boy was I disappointed! Nothing has been updated and in fact my old Vitamix blended better than the 'new' one. I also found that you had to pay another $200 to get a food processor and blender jar. The design is old and only one blade is difficult to detach, the same old problems of trying to scrape the bottom of the blender are still annoying. I sent it back thinking it was a colossal waste of money. I ended up buying the Ninja for about 1/4 the price and they definitely put some thought into their design. The mixer has three blades for easy mixing. This blade mechanism pops out instantly, making it easy to remove any mixed materials and making cleanup easier. It comes with food processing and blender attachments at no extra cost and works like a dream. In my opinion, Vitamix isn't even close.
