I assembled the fan, but the switch broke off. I threw away the boxes when collecting. When I finally got there and tried to turn it on, the switch button was broken and cannot be replaced. I will not be returning it as that would mean buying boxes and repackaging for return shipping. It can be used by turning the switch with a utility knife. For the price I wouldn't need a shifter. In addition, the fan "buyers beware" is loaded. However, it moves a lot of air, so it lives up to expectations for outdoor use in hot Florida summers.
