Most importantly, it works. It works when it's set up and over time. The main disadvantage is that the power cord and USB3 cable are only a few meters long. If you need this all over your computer, you need an extension. With only 4 ports, it also seems a bit pricey. Haven't tried any of the cheaper hubs so don't know if there could be better value. I bought this because my experience with Belkin shows that they make a reliable product and I didn't want to return it if it didn't work!
