Serves its purpose, but wobbles. Looks good on the shelf.

I was looking for suitable file folders to replace my ghetto version from an old box and, frustrated by the (ridiculously) high prices, I looked through many offers. Then I saw this list and their mixed reviews and decided to give it a try. I bought this to hold suspension files and manila binders and wanted something with a lid and something that looked semi-professional. The boxes were well packaged and really don't take up much space when you take them apart which is great! I've read that some people have had trouble closing the latches, but I haven't had this problem. I ordered 3 and they all came together very easily. I love the metal handles on the boxes! I am secretly annoyed by the holey handles that many filing cabinets have. Thanks to the metal handles, they are very easy to carry. I also like having a lid so I don't have to constantly see files and folders staring at me. So what? Good. If you use hanging folders, the hanging part will get hooked on each of the 4 corners when you try to move files back and forth. There is a label on the box that is really good. Very very difficult to get the label/paper. I gave up and just wrote straight on it. It might be easier to use tweezers or something else to remove it. Lid. The lid is for decorative purposes only, which frustrates me. The purpose of a lid is to be able to seal something securely. This shell does nothing of the sort. It is purely decorative as it is very loose and wobbly. If you are looking for stackable boxes, this product is not for you. If you're looking for an item that will get the job done inexpensively (compared to similar products) this product is good enough and they look pretty good sitting down. on the shelf.
