I'm traveling with my laptop and about 4 days before the trip the keyboard started rebelling. Sometimes I couldn't log in, making the laptop unusable. Smile.Revain.com is here to help! Got this just in time for my trip and it works great with my laptop. As noted in other reviews, the keys require a more precise press, but for me this is an advantage - now I have fewer "lazy finger" errors. The keyboard needs to be placed on a hard, flat surface to work, and going from cold (car storage) to warm (desktop) takes time for the keyboard to adjust. The keyboard looks slightly swollen due to the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the silicone keyboard. The device worked well but felt strange until the temperature returned to normal. It required no effort or action on my part. Just a little time. My built-in keyboard is behaving normally at the moment, but I will keep it in my bag as a backup. Highly recommended.
