I was looking for blackout, but already had blackout drapes that did nothing for me, only made it nice and dark for movie watching, while light out all all. The ones I had were true blackout, and black in color.I saw these and immediately fell for these. Did lots of research and am completely blown away at the results. The design has added the 8’ to the room where the other drapes ended, then started on the other wall.These are thick and have a great west to them. These need to be irioned (imho). They look more presentable this way.I threw them in the dryer 3 at a time with a wet white towel, about 29 minutes in the dryer, I starched and presed well. A must! They are light and airy, yet do a fantastic job blocking out light. My other drapes are true blackout, but come with the price of the entire backs of each panel is a pice of insulation. These don’t have that. I have aluminum mini blinds behind them anyway, so these are great. I’ll think you may like them. Just be aware of the return policy at time of purchase. It doesn’t hurt to try them.
