First off I want to also give this company props for amazing customer service. I am huge into gardening and I decided to start wearing my new hiking boots about six weeks prior to our planned vacation to Alaska, so they were worn in and wouldn’t hurt my feet. After a couple of hours of working in my gardens one day I noticed there was some stitching coming apart on one of the boots, and customer service immediately said no problem and I returned them and they sent me a new pair out right away.Second pair have been perfection! Not only was I wearing them for several hours a day, a few days a week during all of my gardening chores, they never hurt my feet even once! We also started hiking in them before our trip, and then for 3 weeks in Alaska in the temperate rainforest areas, and even some snowy areas between June 17 and July 7, 2021.We were in some pretty rough terrain on several of our hikes, hiked through puddles and mud and they continued to take the abuse back home with my intense gardening & landscaping activities - and there is barely a scuff on them, even though I put them through a lot They held up, they kept my feet dry, and there was not one moment of discomfort in these hiking boots! Also, I even tossed them in the washing machine with towels twice and they came out great.I purchased a size 8.5 and it handled my wearing thick socks just fine - my usual size is between an 8-9 depending on Brand/style of shoe. My husband also had the same Foxelli brand hiking boots in a size 12 which is his usual size. I continued to wear them through all of my gardening chores through late fall and they are still holding up beautifully.They offer excellent ankle support, as I do have issues with my right ankle, having sprained it multiple times. Which is why they are now a must when I am outside doing any kind of work or on leisure hikes. They offer comfort, dry feet in the wettest, muddiest conditions, and durability & longevity - what more could we ask for! These are just what we needed.No need to spend $200+ on hiking boots, unless maybe you hike in all of your spare time like it’s your job, lol.
