I like the number of USB ports because it eliminates the need for separate USB adapters. However, when I charged 5 devices (2 iPads, 2 iPhones, 1 Playstation Vista) at the same time, the device got very hot within 5 minutes! I have no way of measuring the exact temperature, but the top of the device was too hot to touch -- far hotter than any surge protector I've ever used. The high temperature also occurred without me connecting my laptop and external drives as intended. I'm not sure about the safety of this product and will look for a more reputable and reliable brand like Belkin etc.
