We bought this collar for our 2 year old Husky who has a strong hunting instinct and likes to pull. We tried many different collars and none of them helped curb his cravings except this one. After reading previous reviews I was worried that I might get a fake but I got a real Herm Sprenger with "Made in Germany" written on it. I have attached some photos of the collar. It's well made and heavy. It has a quick reset function, which is very convenient in an emergency. Most importantly, after just ONE walk with this collar, after trying to pull several times, our dog is behaving great! He now understands that when this collar is placed around his neck, he must walk quietly beside us. The difference was day and night! Considering he's broken several different collars because he's just so strong, we're very happy with this collar! However: This is not a collar that you can leave to your dog. They can really get hurt if they get stuck on something. It's a great collar, but it's a tool. We only use this collar for walking. Our dog has other non-prong collars that he wears when we are not walking him. Note: We ordered Large for our 74 lb husky. It was loose on his neck so I removed a link and now it fits great and still has plenty of room.
