To use with a height-adjustable table, I purchased a bracket. I choose this alternative because the monitor may be positioned farther away from you by moving it slightly back, behind the table. Now that my desk is around 8 cm from the wall, the front edge of the monitor is 15.5 cm from the same wall, resulting in a distance of 7.5 cm from the back of the desk to the front of the monitor. If the monitor is lifted high enough and does not rest against the vertical lower part of the bracket, you can push it even further away from the wall (or even if the table is not against the wall). 32" Samsung U32J590UQI monitor, 5.5 kg, is what I have. It is being held firmly in the arm. The monitor does not sway while you are using a computer. It is simple to move ahead, turn, or lift. To be safe, I placed thick cardboard under the mount during installation. Perhaps there is no need for this as the mount contains soft padding. The backlash of the Vesa-panel fastening latch is a common topic in reviews. I don't experience any backlash, and the monitor sits solidly in place. It's very easy to fasten the monitor since you only snap the monitor onto the bracket after screwing the bracket and Vesa panel to the monitor individually.
