It exceeded my expectations in every way. I bought this for my 6 month old granddaughter and she is absolutely in love with her clicking fish! Every day she spends time carefully picking different fish and rubbing them together to make different clicking sounds. She specifically selects one of the indentations to use as a "tool" to rub against other fish's fins and make various sounds. One day she tried one of her rubber teethers and it was so great to see her stop and wonder how/why the teether wasn't working. She put it down and tried a toy with a different texture. She's learning the concept of "in" a bowl, and we're talking flowers (though that's certainly not for her right now). The songs are very catchy and understandable; It's amazing that he gets stimulated by simply dropping fish or pressing buttons + he has different training levels. You'll find yourself singing a fish song, which isn't bad. lolUpdate: It's still the kids' favorite toy. I'm amazed at how adaptable he is. Now, at 11 months old, she happily tosses the fish, crawls after them and then tosses them into her bowl. They are very durable; We never worried about them cracking. Great purchase!
