These gloves were bought specifically for working with a heavy bag. I've used them for 8 workouts and they wear well. They offer excellent protection and support. They are well ventilated and easy to put on and take off. My only complaint is that they seem a bit small. I usually wear large gloves (driver's gloves, winter gloves, etc.) so I ordered them in a large size as well. When I wear bandages (which should always be worn underneath) they sit a little tighter on my arms. Not so much that they cut off blood flow, but they felt a little tight. This will probably subside as they break in more fully, but for now I'd give them half a star for size. Since I can't, and since that's my only problem, I give them a full 5 stars. Although they cost a little more than entry-level gloves, they are worth the money.
