As a longtime user of EBL batteries, I know for sure that they make high quality products. Some people still call EBL an off-brand, but I consider them to be one of a handful of my go-to favorite battery brands; this battery and charger combo pack is no exception.This charger is great value because it offers many features normally only found in higher priced chargers, but at a rock-bottom price. Features such as the digital display that shows charge/discharge progress of each battery, the ability to independently charge 1 to 8 AA or AAA Ni-MH or Ni-Cd or any combination in any slot, a discharge button which quickly brings new batteries up to their full potential and extends the life of older batteries, and something even my expensive chargers don’t have – USB-C AND USB-micro power inputs! That is a great benefit for someone like me that travels a lot. Using USB-C and a 10W brick, this budget priced charger has fast charge capabilities – unbelievable!The batteries included in this combo pack aren’t new to me. I have several of these batteries and they are some of my favorites. The reason I like them so much is because I have never had a faulty battery and they hold their charge a long time, so I don’t need to charge them before using batteries that have charged and stored for a few months – which I need to do on some of the more expensive name brands. They also maintain their capacity for a long time, which is also better than some of the pricier batteries that battery snobs swear by – I won’t name the light blue/ dark blue batteries I am referring to.Considering the quality of the charger and batteries, the numerous high-value features the charger has, and this combo pack’s amazingly low price – I HIGHLY recommend this product.
