I love the idea of reusable straws, but no matter what I put in them (brush, cotton swab, chopstick) there was always something that burned with hot water. and these weapons would have missed. The visible dirt left behind by the cocktails made these alternative straws unsustainable. I received them and tried them on a few straws that I had this problem with. Not only were the smoothie residues gone, but the tea-stained straw was also cleared of particles. My straws look brand new and now I don't have to worry about my microbe farms anymore.
