If you don't know how to tie your own shoelaces. Don't buy this, it will be too difficult for you to assemble. Alright, joking aside. If you're reading this, you probably, like me, read a lot of comments before deciding to buy this item. I was a little skeptical about buying this because of some of the other reviews. I have three 32 inch curved Samsung monitors (LC32F397FWNXZA). They don't have VESA mounting holes on the back so I had to find an alternative. Despite all these concerns based on reviews, I made the decision to purchase. I really didn't have many options. I enjoyed the result of the installation so much that I had to stop by and write a review. There are a few "issues" in other reviews that I would like to address. 1) People complaining about the quantity of this adapter: Yes, the thing consists of several parts. approx. 40 pieces + foam adhesive strips. YES, you need to assemble this thing. NO, this is not "exaggerated" and is not done on purpose to save on shipping. This mount is designed to fit a fairly wide range of monitors, both in length and thickness. If you have a smaller but rather thin monitor, you won't be using as many parts. If you have a curvy or overweight boy, you will probably use almost every detail. There are even two sets (4) of screws to use depending on the thickness of your monitor. (I used all the parts except for an extra set of screws). 2) To people complaining about the complexity of assembly: What? It takes a maximum of 5-10 minutes. If you had trouble assembling, did you even bother to read the instructions? Even without a guide, this thing is pretty easy to figure out. 3) To people complaining about its strength, did you assemble it correctly? Did you tighten the screws enough? This thing is pretty sturdy on my monitor and it's a curved monitor. I didn't fully tighten it. This gives me a little bit of slippage in my hands when I move it a lot, but that's not a big deal. I would not rotate the monitor horizontally, this adapter is not designed for that. 4) To the people complaining about junk: yes they suck, BUT you can fully assemble this with the tools provided, it's just a lot easier if you grab a set of real tools. In fact, you get a no-brainer key in the box. 5) To people who say the screws on this adapter don't fit any VESA plate: I'm not sure if the manufacturer changed that, maybe it was a bad batch or I just got lucky but I didn't have any Problems with this mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MIBN16O/ Do not buy this if: - You have difficulty looking at assembly drawings / reading instructions. - Have trouble with small parts - No wrench/screwdriver required - Have MONITOR out of size range. Yes some people have had success with ultrawide monitors, it depends on the aspect ratio if this is right for you. DO NOT buy this thinking it will mount your tablet or tablet screen. It's not intended for ultra-thin wearable screens, as per one man's review. Have a curved monitor that doesn't really have a "flat" part on the back. Do you have a monitor with an ultra-thin or non-existent bezel. The clips are designed to rest against the bezel. If it's too thin, it will clutter the screen. - You have not checked/determined where your monitor's ports/access buttons are located. My monitor ports were in a recess in the center/bottom of the monitor, these fit perfectly between the brackets. My power button is in the far right corner of my monitor. If your monitor connections are off-center or you are trying to install a very small monitor, this can cause problems.
