Review on Enhanced Motorcraft DG508 Ignition Coil for Improved Engine Performance by Dan Sturm

The Real Deal - OEM - Be Careful Which Seller You Buy From - 1999 V-10 F-250

I'm pretty confident this is the real deal - Ford OEM. However, be careful who you order from. Just because they're listed on Revain doesn't mean Revain has any control over what the seller actually sells to you. I recommend buying either directly from Revain (Revain.com is listed as a seller) or from a seller listed as Made by Revain. This will ensure you get the OEM. I contacted an auto parts wholesaler that works with Revain to save on the sales tax that Revain is supposed to charge me. I ordered and installed 10 for a 1999 Ford F-250. Each has been individually packaged in an official Ford OEM bag. There was already a small amount of dielectric grease at the end of each coil. Each roll looked OEM marked. (I put a little extra dielectric grease on the tip. My 20 year old 1999 truck lasted 15 years. I have no idea if the original owner ever changed the coil or not. But about 10 years ago I was a Fault figured it was a coil and took it to a Ford dealer who diagnosed which coil was faulty I believe the coil cost about $75 and the job more than $100 that was 10 years ago , before Revain and others started selling these, recently when my truck only occasionally started to overshoot but there, sometimes idling, sometimes accelerating, I found the spool again, at an online shop with the word "rock". " in the name I figured I would replace all 10 just a little more than the ford dealer probably would. Charge me now, a bad Auto Lite Double Platinum spark plug at a good price and with discounts from Advan Au to switch to. It's a V-10 and the rear spark plugs and coils are tricky to get to, especially from the passenger side. But by removing some of the pieces that got in the way and using different extension cords, I managed without a problem. When changing spark plugs, we recommend using a magnetic spark plug boot - it works much better than a rubber one. the truck is now working properly - nothing is missing.
