Review on 🧶 Addi Rocket2 [Squared] 32 inch Circular Knitting Needles - US 0, 2mm by Shantel Griffin

I've used pretty much every knitting needle ever made. Including vintage whalebone, vintage stainless steel round cords, momentarily accessible Susan Bates breaking points where you could loosen the point of a straight needle to make it sharp, medium, or blunt, and all kinds of fixed, interchangeable, and kind. These addi -Square needles Rocket2 are very good. The cables are nicely attached so they don't get caught on the yarn. The cables don't rotate, but that doesn't bother me. I love square knitting needles and mostly ordered them out of curiosity about the "combs". 🤔 I still can't understand why combs are put on square knitting needles? I use them with Alchemy Silk Straw which is quite slippery. I started the sweater with Kollage Square Interchanges and switched to these Addi needles when they arrived. I don't see any benefits yet. I thought the lugs might help keep the slick, slippery yarn under control, but I don't see any difference between these and my other needles. That being said...Addi needles are wonderful, reliable, trouble free needles from a company that has been making needles since 1829. A square needle is very convenient, especially when you feel fatigue or discomfort in your hands while knitting. For many, including myself, a square needle helps keep stitches straight. I'll update this review when I find out what the benefit of combing is!😄
