I am normally a 1x and I got the 5x because of reviews. It fits like a looser 1x. It fits nicely, plenty of room to wrap it around myself. It's very soft and actually much thicker than I expected. This will probably, unfortunately, be too warm for Halloween where I live but I like to celebrate spooky season year round. Seems to be double layered. The only real complaint I have (and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5) is the packaging and shipping. There is no thin paper or anything extra over the designs like there should be, and because of this the border which has the designs was folded onto itself when it arrived. Meaning I had to very slowly and carefully peel apart the border so it did minimal damage to the designs. It did a little damage nonetheless which was unfortunately unavoidable. It's not that noticable but it's still frustrating because the designs are the whole reason I bought this.
