I have a larger iPhone. I also have an aversion to cracked screens, which is why it has a big, chunky yellow case (because I can find it at the bottom of bags, under stacks of paper, etc. + no cracked screen. yay!). However, this also means it doesn't fit very well in the cradle and the phone's weight seems to be a small issue. Also, the arm isn't as flexible as I would have liked when I thought I might need more flexibility. Because my cars like the curvy Dash didn't leave me a really big flat surface to glue it to. Net mesh, I think this could be a great holder for someone but not for me.
