I love this portable air conditioner so much that I'm actually considering buying a second one to replace the old portable air conditioner in another room! It takes up less space and consumes less energy. I live on 1000 sqm. Feet, and space is definitely an issue. The area of the room where I use it is about 250 square meters. ft. It's more efficient than other portable air conditioners I've had in the past. I like that it self-dissipates. I live in a drier climate, but I've had to drain other air conditioners frequently. So far there have been no problems with this model. Quieter than older models, but you can't call it quiet. No big deal because white noise helps me sleep! I also like having a remote control. I have old windows in my house similar to what another reviewer wrote. It took a little effort to cut the window insert, but it's my fault for not measuring my windows first. Securing the exhaust hose also required some effort. But not impossible. In general, definitely worth the money. Especially since the price is lower than most other portable air conditioners on the market.
