Doesn't work for me.
I couldn't pierce a leather jacket with an ordinary sewing needle. I wanted to change the buttons but it didn't work so I bought Hekisn leather needles and they didn't go through the leather either! I ended up sewing the buttons onto the jacket using a sewing machine and a leather sewing machine needle. It worked!
