After the purchase, I connected the port to SATA-3, installed Samsung Magician, the disk was identified as original, and the firmware was ated. Partitioned in 'gdisk', transferred the EFI partition from the old HDD using dd, the partition with Windows 7 (500 GB in 70 minutes) using ntfsclone. Windows refused to boot, because. the GUID of its partition changed and the bootloader did not know where to look for it. Booted from a Windows flash drive and ated the BCD configuration with `bootrec /RebuildBcd`. I installed the prepared SSD in the Thinkpad x230 (the standard fasteners need to be moved to a new drive, since it fits perfectly). Lenovo Airbag Protection turned itself off. A drive is lighter than an HDD and should theoretically consume less power. There is a quiet high frequency noise during file operations. It's been working fine for a week now.
