As I will be working from home for the foreseeable future due to the quarantine, I wanted to take advantage of the good weather and work outside, but the Macbook's glossy screens are too distracting from the reflections in the sun and I kept straining strange at eyes sometimes or tilting the screen. I bought it as an anti-glare filter. I didn't want anything I couldn't remove since it's a work computer. That is a good decision. The magnets keep it in place very well, it fits my 2019 13" MBP perfectly (some headroom on the black frame but easy to remove). I'm not that concerned about privacy but have included some pictures to show the angle for 100% privacy lock as well as glare reduction. The only downside is that the screen's brightness and sharpness is somewhat reduced with the anti-glare side down, but I can live with that (it's not permanently attached after all, it's a great compromise for going out). Get used to it on the first day. I forgot it was there until the wind picked up and ripped the tread off the ground. It's also slightly elevated from the bottom of the screen as the magnetic mount is on top. I can also close it with the laptop open. So if that's a bigger problem, you can stick it on (although not the ideal solution).
