My baby loves these slippers. Nice cheap slippers. We also let him wear them to play on the patio because they have real rubber soles. I wouldn't wear them in the yard, although the fabric gets dirty too easily. We only have applesauce drops with spot cleaning, but they feel like they could be gently machine washed and stored. They resemble terry cloth, like a soft towel. Very warm although the ankles are showing - we just put socks on him when it's really cold. The only silly thing I would change is that they lift him visibly, he's noticeably taller when he's wearing them because the butt is thick. His grandmother laughs and calls them her platforms. We'll probably buy them bigger next time if we don't have to hide them because he's looking for them to wear.
