These earrings are tiny - be sure to compare with the ruler to see what size to expect. - Once turned on, they don't go anywhere. On the other hand, this makes them incredibly difficult to open if you want to take them off. I received them as a gift and to be honest I'm not sure I would actually give them as gifts due to the size and complexity of the clasps.
