Assembly went smoothly even though the person who wrote the instructions was clearly not a native English speaker. The pictures are very clear, but I had to refer to the picture on the lid of the box a few times to clarify the confusing steps. All was going well until I tried putting a battery in the movement. First part fell off. Attempting to repair this part resulted in another part coming loose. And so it continues. Now I'm contemplating disassembling the whole thing and starting over with a bottle of glue in hand or throwing it away.
