Replaced my worn out 2011 Buick Lacrosse key fob with no problems. I just took both to a locksmith and it was done within 10 minutes. I recommend asking a locksmith to program the car if you are unsure. I heard you can only try once. I'm not sure if that's true, but I didn't risk it.
