These are good hiking pants for those who want to use their pants in the wilderness. Not only are they a beautiful combination of style/affordability/quality, but they are also waterproof and durable. I've worn them fishing and hiking and love them. Check out the different categories of testimonials below: Zippers: These pants have a strong and durable zipper that you can pull on without feeling like it's about to knot or tear. The zips look like they are made of quality material and you can actually zip them up if you are in a tight spot and need to open your bag to get a pair of pliers while holding a fish or her in your other hand close to it - it did not come out. There is nothing to fear here. Material: Material feels like softer neoprene. They are definitely waterproof and can even be coated with a special coating for added confidence. They don't seem to tear easily but can wear down if kneeled and scratched enough. However, these are affordable pants, which the material from which they are made guarantees. What do you expect from hiking pants, they can't be the best of all worlds. Fit: They are true to size and may seem a bit large when you receive them, I thought so too. Wearing them in the cold I have found that they fit exactly how I want them to, they are a little bulky, they have enough freedom of movement, and also enough freedom of movement and enough material to stay warm. They are exactly how I want them to be. Inner material: inner fleece feels good on the skin. It's non-irritating and glides on while retaining warmth. Breathability: These pants are breathable! Enough said. I wore them for 5 hours fishing in 59F and then fell asleep on the couch after coming home for a few hours and never got a sweat or froze. They have more than enough airflow. I would recommend these pants for indoors and outdoors. Look: I mean.
