I hesitated before spending that much money on a vacuum cleaner. However, the money was well spent. Quality at the highest level. This makes other vacuum cleaners feel like toys. I hope that the high quality will ensure a long service life. My dog, like most dogs, is afraid of vacuum cleaners, probably because of the high-pitched noise they make. Miele doesn't bother him at all. Despite its smooth running, it generates a lot of suction power. It effortlessly picks up dirt and small objects from the gaps between the planks of our wooden floors. (Our kitchen floor is very aged, so there are a few gaps between the planks that are wider than typical modern hardwood floors.) Having only hardwood floors, I can't confirm its effectiveness on carpet. My only complaint. is that equipment like a crevice tool and hand brushes aren't included and aren't cheap. Grief aside, I would definitely recommend this vacuum cleaner to anyone.
