They seem to fit what I want. I just got them in the mail and colored a page in a coloring book - which to my surprise was quite reassuring - to randomly test out a few colors to make sure I had a good batch of markers. One or two of them seemed a bit more difficult to get the color in, so there might be some dryness there. But that's okay because I didn't buy them to color in. I mean them for a DIY project and as long as there is at least some ink in the pen you should be fine. I definitely like the price for 50 markers. Update 12/14/18: So the DIY project mentioned above involves using these markers to make custom alcohol based inks and they turned out to be amazing for that. That's why I bought these markers in the first place; I wasn't looking for something to dye. It's a simple process: I open the plastic case of the marker of the color I want and carefully remove the ink cartridge from it. Then I fill a small bottle with the usual 70% alcohol you buy at the drugstore and lower the cartridge to soak it for a while. The distribution of the ink will be faster if you cut the cartridge into pieces with scissors. I dyed a white silk ribbon I have and it turned out to be the prettiest, most airy pastel I've ever seen. It also gives the band some shine. These are washable markers so I would not decorate any clothing with this tape. But you can certainly use the tape for home decor or jewelry making β in other words, anything you can't throw in the washing machine. So I use these markers for other purposes but I'm still very happy with them because they make excellent alcohol based inks and commercial brands are ridiculously expensive. These markers can help you outperform for pennies per color. what you can't throw in the washing machine.
